Wine Tasting in SF Series: Marina Wine Bars for Every Occasion

For the past four years I have lived in the Marina district of San Francisco. Fortunately for wine lovers like me, there are plenty of places to try delicious wine within a half-mile radius. This post is going to be short and sweet, but full of great ideas for where to go and taste great wines depending on what you are looking for. Cheers!

Nectar Wine Lounge: Perfect Date
This is where I go when....I want to try a delicious flight, dress up, and maybe have some tasty bites with my vino. This is also a great place for happy hour, the specials include 50% off glasses of wine and food specials from 5-7.

California Wine Merchant: Casual Local Wine Bar
This is where I go when....I'm not hungry, I want to be casual, and just taste some great wines. This place also frequently has special winery tastings. Far Niente is pouring here on April 30th.

Pe Yale: Pre-Night on the Town
This is where I go when...I want to go somewhere cute and upscale with my girlfriends or on a date before dinner. They have a delicious sparkling rose and adorable seating arrangements.

Bin 38: Outdoor Seating
This is where I go when...I'm going to make a reservation, I want to sit outside, and maybe have dinner too. If you need a great private party idea, this place also rents out their patio and will give you a great deal on wine and appetizer packages.

Ottimista Enoteca-Cafe: Brunch for Vino Lovers
This is where I go when...I want a delicious breakfast pizza paired with a good mimosa (translation: no Cook's or Andre on tap).
